My fat memories
From the age of 26 years, to University and military service completed, I had no more practiced any sport, If sporadic not biking or swim to the sea in summer. Then I weighed about 80 kg and I could eat what I wanted. Then with the wedding, the work, travelling abroad, my weight began to increase, slowly but steadily, I would say about 1 kg every year, that for 21 years make 21 kg!! So on balance I was passed by 80 kg of 1987 to 101 kg of 2008. My name is Gianpeppino, Today I 50 years. In 2008, After I realized too many accumulated pounds, early backache, bad knees and by rumblings of foie gras received per medical check ups then, I decided for a prior diet of 6 months, in which I spent from 101 kg to 92 kg. Nothing sci-fi, only the reduction of doses taken, alcohol out and attention to fat, and until then still no physical activity. At the beginning of the 2010, namely 6 months after the first diet, I decided to make a second in January and losing others 10 kg!! Always with moderate diet, no specific system, only so much goodwill and determination, and still no physical activity. I found myself so in June 2010 to 82 kg, and with a markedly improved health. Only problem: having 50 years, I had some more physical by athlete, and my pictures to the sea were more of a "pear" body all flabby muscles and bones, and with the remaining flab in the wrong places and. ...
It was only in March of this year, the 2011 that, almost as a joke, during a convention in Atlanta, I got to go jogging in the afternoon with friends. At the beginning very hard, the legs and knees kept me after just a couple of km; My only ran until then had been in the airport, in delay with the trolley, to chase a plane not to be missed ..... Almost at the same time, in April, I decided to subscribe to the gym Fitness First in Milan, where I also met Gigi Cordella, my personal trainer. A fantastic man, Nice, Smart, farsighted, Professional, determined, Serio, accurate, sloppy...... etc etc (Note: for each additional compliment are 10 Euro per word .....), and even slightly sadistic. I understand that by combining the activities of jogging and gym, I had found the ideal combination for my health, and especially to my mood my motivation. After only 3 months, from April to June (see photo !) my physical shape and tone were already in great evolution: the weight had remained virtually unchanged (81 kg per190 cm high) but the muscle distribution was completely changed. Life level I had lost a further cuts: from 56 of 2008, the 52 of 2010 and to the 50 now, and muscle mass had formed at the abdominal level, chest and arms, fantastic !!
Today I work out regularly, I go to the gym allowing travel 2 times in the morning during the week and on weekends; What I did not expect and I discovered with pleasure was the chance to practise jogging even while traveling abroad in the morning, fantastic! Discover the places and landscapes that morning during the workday airport-meeting-dinner-hotel had never seen ! Then get to run 3 times a week, and I feel very well. With my Trainer Gigi There is a great value, He controls the evolution of my physical shape and sizes with care and a lot of the precision training type; very, very professional !
The last significant appearance: After 2 years of "life miserable" with diets to lose weight, now with all this physical activity I can afford to eat more and make some exceptions, Although the attention to what you eat every day is always high.
